Chris Noth - aka Mr Big from Sex and the City - was among the celebs helping to answer the age-old question about what is kept under a man's kilt in New York this week.

He joined Donald Trump, Brian Cox and Kiefer Sutherland at the annual Dressed to Kilt charity fashion show at the Hammerstein Ballroom to take part in a fashion show.

As the name suggests, the event called for the wearing of all things Scottish and the men were eager to oblige, strutting their stuff down the catwalk in kilts.

However, once they got to the end, they turned and lifted them up to reveal their bare bottoms.

James Baron told CBS New York Dressed to Kilt is always great fun.

"Every year, it's been getting more away from a runway show and more into talent. It's fashion mixed in with performances," he added.

Although Noth, Sutherland and Trump were very sporting, only Cox can truly claim Scottish heritage, having been born in Dundee.

However, they seem to have developed their stage presence and camaraderie thanks to currently starring on Broadway together.
