Venetian Mask, Columbine - Commedia Dell'Arte Italian Carnival Mask
Includes: hand made venetian half face mask tied, which ties up at the back through means of black ribbons.
A real hand made product, made by artists and decorated in full respect of Venetian artisan traditions and original designs developed in Venice together with “Commedia Dell'Arte” during the 17th Century.
The Columbina AKA Columbine, a half mask and has golden or silver decorations as the norm as well as Feathers and crystals which are also part of it's most common adornments. It can be held to the face by means of a baton or tied at the back through a ribbon, as most other venetian masks.
The Columbina mask was polularised by an early actress in the Commedia dell'arte which had the same name (Columbine). It is said that this was designed solely for this lady, as her beauty was such that they didn't want to cover the whole of her face.
Please note that due to the way these masks are made (all hand made from scratch) it is likely that variations to the picture may occur. If these variations are considered to be major, we will get in contact with you.

You can return any item up to 28 working days from receipt of goods, subject to the following:
- The item must be unused and without damage, and in a saleable condition.
- We require all original packaging.
- Makeup, face paint, fangs & teeth, tights, stockings and underwear must remain unopened and with original seals intact.
