- Bottom Line: I love this dress. It is expensive but is very authentic looking. I saw a picture of Scarlett O'Hara wearing the very same thing on-line. The only down side to this delightful dress is that the inside of the sleeves is badly finished off and the netting that is used to stiffen the sleeves is not finished off on the inside so is VERY scratchy - I actually had a cat like sctratch on the point of my shoulder such is the roughness! Anyway, soon remedied with some oversewing of satin ribbon, but at that price...... Also had to do some minor alterations to the belt as the size of it is VERY generous - not really a 10 - 12 size but again, easy enough to fix.
