- Bottom Line: I wore the Grim Reaper outfit for my sister's Fancy Dress theme. Im glad I chose it as everyone else came as good guys/girls, i.e. Superman, Batman, Batgirl, She-ra, etc. It is certainly authentic looking, it's a shame you don't get the scythe with it. You definitely need to purchase a scythe to look like Death. The only downside, a minor one, was that it can get hot under the mask. So, take a small towel to wipe the sweat. I'm very happy with the costume.
