Within easy reach of either Camden Town or Chalk Farm Road tube stations you will find London’s ultimate fancy dress experience - the Escapade fancy dress superstore! The top of the range 4000 sq ft store has a huge range of costumes and some snazzy features which will make your costumer experience and finding the perfect costumes or accessories as easy and exciting as possible!
When you arrive you’ll be greeted by our friendly and professional team of experienced and dedicated costumiers who are eager to help you find whatever you are looking for and are happy to provide suggestions on the perfect costumes or accessories for any fancy dress party or event.
Inside the store you'll find four huge rooms, spread across two levels which are jam packed with a huge selection of costumes and accessories to browse through.
Once you find something that you like please feel free to try it on in our deluxe and spacious changing rooms, which make it easy for you to find the perfect costume and transform yourself into your favourite character.
If you want to browse our full range of costumes use one of our four touch screen displays in the back of the store, which include internet access to our website further showcasing our extensive range of costumes and accessories. If you can’t find what you are looking for in the shop you are sure to find it in our huge selection of online costumes.

Escapade has been established for over 29 years since 1982 and has 1000's of excellent quality fancy dress costumes and accessories for purchase and hire including; masks, wigs, make-up, jewelry and novelty products.
Over our 29 years in business we have built up an enviable client list - supplying to retail customers, businesses, schools, charities and many TV companies including BBC, CBBC, Walt Disney, MTV, Nickelodeon and Channel 4, Cadbury's to name but a few.
Memorable moments: Our Camden shop, which is a favourite amongst celebrities and TV companies, has a lot of memorable moments including the filming of "House of Fun" by Madness, episodes of Celebrity Apprentice, Gok Wan’s How too Look Good Naked and This Mornings Garden segment to name but a few. We have also supplied the Animal costumes and fat suits for Dom Jolly’s popular Trigger Happy TV series and still stock these popular costumes in store for hire.
