- Bottom Line: I wear the costume at parties and fun nights out. It''s quite authentic and looks impressive. It''s not too thick or hot to wear and it''s light and flexible enough to dance in! However, it needed quite a few modifications. I had to fix a zipper to the back as the rubber attachments are quite heavy for the thin material of the jumpsuit and the velcro tabs weren''t strong enough to hold the costume on. I had to sew more velcro pieces to the belt, as the pre-set ones made the belt far bigger than my 32 inch waist. The boot spats needed elasticated bands to hold them to my ankles. Also I found more bands on my elbows and wrists were needed to hold the accessories better. Finally, the helmet got cracked in the post and more cracks appeared through wearing the costume. I repaired them using epoxy resin adhesive, but the helmet could do with being less flimsy. One last thing... You have to wear several woolly hats to keep the helmet fixed on your head!
